Contemporary Spiral Staircase in Wood and Glass by Damian Cyryl Kotwicki

Good planning and features such as an open plan with a five meter wide window allows for creating and giving the illusion of even more space. Choosing a glass siding for the staircase instead of continuing it in solid wood is also a great way to avoid the staircase being so imposing - but the wood keeps it rich and luxurious. A very cool focal point in the space.

Dark and Cozy Living Room Interior
It’s warm and earthy with all that wood, leather, and dark wall paneling. The room has beautiful light and a great connection to the outdoors via those gigantic windows and massive amounts of glass, typical of modern architecture. The beams add a striking visual interest and exaggerate the height of the interior space. There’s an influence of mid century style in the furnishings. The two large pendants look great while serving the important purpose of defining areas in this open plan living room.

For those of you still unaware, I’m trying to spread the word about this to get as many people in the know as possible.
As you will find in the article linked to this picture, Glee has ripped off Jonathan Coulton with their newest acoustic rendition of Sir MixaLot’s “Baby Got Back” - a rendition completely identical to the one Coulton released in 2006 (you can find a side-by-side in the article) without contacting him beforehand. They even sing “Johnny C’s in trouble,” as Coulton did in 2006.
This is a disrespectful and shameful theft of intellectual property and it makes me sick - not only that they stole his idea without asking him or crediting him, but that if this song really does air in six days as is planned (which I hope to God it doesn’t), there will be thousands of people who will think that Glee came up with the idea to do an acoustic version of “Baby Got Back,” and Glee will take all the credit the Jonathan Coulton deserves.
Please, spread the word and contact FOX on Twitter, Facebook, what have you - let them know that what they’re doing is cheap and wrong.

i don’t listen to jonathan coulton or watch glee, but not crediting an artist is about the biggest dick move you can make without actually causing anyone physical harm

jesus fucking christ

When the Glee cast sang it, they even copied his lyrics. As far enough to say “Johnny C” in the song, which is THE GUY THEY STOLE IT FROMS NAME.

as if I needed another reason to hate glee.

^ As above.
Just listened to them at the same time, and they are completely identical. You literally cannot hear a difference.

Mont Saint-Michel, France

Reminder to self:

Somewhere on this beautiful blue planet of ours, there is a fairy-tale castle on the middle of an island that you can walk to during low tide.

I went to this castle twice - once as a child and then again as an adult. It lost none of its fairytale charm and if you ever get a chance to go there, leave yourself enough time to explore…

I need to go here…
