I feel like 4th editions cover’s got back to the mentality of “This is all the cool shit you can imagine in this game.”
Personally I really dislike the 4E covers, certainly the launch ones. The illustrations are just plain bad. My preference is defiantly for the 3E/3.5E books which look like serious/magical tomes.
